I believe that everyone has a cause – something that they want to support deep down, something where they want to make a positive social impact in the world or in their communities.
My mission is to work with each leader, each entrepreneur, and anyone else with a platform or resources (like celebrities or philanthropists) to identify where they want to make a positive difference in the world and to help them stay committed to their big vision.
Championing a meaningful issue that aligns with your values increases your personal fulfillment. It’s good for business too – for employee and customer loyalty. 91% of consumers prefer to support a brand that supports a good cause. Likewise, 79% of employees prefer to work for a company that has a strong sense of purpose beyond profit. Organizations are increasingly being asked about their corporate social responsibility efforts from potential customers and employees. It is clear that there is a strong preference for socially responsible businesses among consumers and employees.
And the cause doesn’t have to be grandiose or global. It can be in your community, or in your kids’ school, or in your workplace. For some, it can simply be an issue you speak up about because it’s the right thing to do.
How do you want to positively change in the world? I’d love to hear!
